A book lover cannot claim to be one unless they read old books like Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster.
For I that became curious, went ahead and read this book using eBook and not once did I hate it nor regret it.
This book is about a girl that has graduated high school but have not left her asylum since she has no money to do so. She lives there and takes care of the young ones but one day, Mrs.Lippet, the women in charge called. On the way over she caught a glimpse of a men with a pair of long legs. To her surprise, that man became her trustee and thus begins the days she writes to him. She told her daddy-long-legs about everything.
She met different people in college and all. Oh I love the story so much.
I miss the days when gay means happy instead of homosexual. Seriously guys, not cool =-="
I miss the days when hardly there is a word of cursing.
So yeah...
I love this story and I want to read her sequel called Dear Enemy.
